Tamara Knapp-Grosz

: As Senior Director, Dr. Knapp-Grosz currently oversees the Counseling and Testing Center at the University of North Texas. Dr. Knapp-Grosz received her Master’s in Psychology from Long Island University and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Seton Hall University. She has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Nursing and completed her doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Her clinical interests include Anxiety Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Positive Psychology. A former corporate Psychologist, she has opened over 100 treatment programs across the United States. Active in numerous professional organizations, Dr. Knapp-Grosz is a Past President of the Georgia College Counseling Association and currently serves as Past-President of the American College Counseling Association. Most recently Dr. Knapp-Grosz was Director of Counseling and Student Accommodations at the Savannah College of Art and Design for 15 years.
