Ana L. Gonzalez-Celis

Graduated from the National University of Mexico (UNAM) where she earned a degree in Psychology, a Master in Health Services Research, and a Ph. D in Psychology. As a professor, she has earned the level “C”, which is the maximum scale to achieve. She has been for 40 years a Psychology major researcher on the division of postgraduate studies and research at UNAM, where she earned the level “D” on the “PRIDE” program, which is the maximum level as a UNAM researcher. Member of the Register Tutors as Senior Tutor of the Ph.D. Program in Psychology, where she offers courses of Methodology & Statistics and Aging Psychology. Awards She is a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico (SNI) at Level I since 2004. Earned in 2009 the Academic Merit and in 2010 train the course Evaluation in Gerontology: A Multidisciplinary Vision in Health Area at the recognized Alexander I. Oparin Cathedra at UNAM. Publications She has published more than 25 articles in national and international refereed journals and indexed; and she has over 15 book chapters by invitation. She is the coordinator and author of the Manual Psychogerontology Evaluation published by the editorial “Manual Moderno”. Author of the book Evaluation of Quality of Life in Old Age and co-author of Cognitive-behavioral group therapy in the care of the elderly, A practical guide for therapists, published by UNAM. Research She has more than 50 researches presented at national conferences, more than 20 at international conferences, and a guest of more than 20 national and international conferences. Invited to present several works by the Mexican Academy of Sciences, and developed research in the area of Quality of Life and Aging. She is responsible for the project Psychology of Aging, Quality of Life, and Health, where she obtained sponsorship from PAPIIT, PFAMU, and PAPCA programs at UNAM and FES Iztacala, UNAM.
