Jesus Alfonso D Datu
Dr. Jesus Alfonso Daep Datu (Jess) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Counselling. He completed his PhD in Educational Psychology degree in the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong. He is a well-being scientist with research programs in positive psychology, positive education, and inclusive education. He uses cross-sectional, cross-cultural, cross-temporal, and intervention designs in exploring well-being factors and interventions that promote mental health, academic success, and inclusive attitude towards students with special needs. He is also the Lab Leader of the Science of Happiness and Positive Education (SHAPE) lab.
