Taking care of our own wellbeing is essential to staying balanced, healthy and well in these challenging times especially when feelings of helplessness, anxiety or doubt can be overwhelming. Aside from eating well, exercising and getting adequate sleep, we can learn how to reset ourselves in simple, practical ways during the day to relax and rebalance our minds and bodies. Based on the principles of mindfulness and harnessing the power of our restorative nervous system, this experiential workshop will introduce you to the power of the reset, and how to activate the shift from stress to balance. Building our reservoir of positive emotions broadens our thought-action repertoire and increases our personal resources, while tapping into appreciation and gratitude can lead to greater optimism, life satisfaction, vitality, connection and optimal functioning. Learning how to actively build, access and use positive emotions, appreciation and gratitude will help buffer stress and support our own wellbeing every day. When we invest time in effective self-care, we are also better able to support the people around us.

This workshop is evidence-based and draws on research on the breath, positive emotions and gratitude, as well as key principles of mindfulness, to present practical, every-day wellbeing strategies for everyone with a body.
