Positive Education Movement in Kindergartens project is a 3-year longitudinal study for local early learning, kindergartens in Hong Kong to implement Positive Education in their school contexts. A whole school approach is adopted in the current study, which involves teaching/non-teaching, parents, students, Po Leung Kuk educational psychologists, and consultants from Geelong Grammar Schools, Institute of Positive Education, Australia. This study and application of Positive Education in kindergarten contexts, invites insights of a primarily Western-centric framework and its adoption into an Eastern culture. Preliminary results of the longitudinal study, examples of explicit and implicit curriculum and comments from the different stakeholders, and core learning from  creating positive change across different cultural perspectives are shared.
