The Multidimensional Thinking Program is developed  in order to enhance five and a six year old child’s multi-dimensional thinking skills. On the basis of the Thinking Training, the main objective is to assist children explore by means of stimuli that are interesting to them (for example stories, poems and arts), and to obtain the thinking skills about the topics that are directly related to their past, present and future. Beside these, positive thinking process is encouraged. On developing the program, Socrates’, Rumi’s, Piaget’s, Vygotsky’s, Bruner’s and Lipman’s views on education were all accepted as a base. There found 100 activities in the program whicj were scientifically tested. The program is based on Multidimensional Thinking Approach.

Multidimensional Thinking Approach is developed by Çağla Gür and based on this approach activities for children and adults can be developed. Activities based on this approach  are developed for both mothers and children The effectiveness of Multidimensional Thinking Program for five and six year-olds has been scientifically proven. The program has applied to 200 children. Mothers program is found to be effective also (number of mothers participated in the program is 30- here children program will be explained)

There are five basic dimensions in this approach. Activities.of the program are developed under those dimensions.

           1. First Dimension (Self-Recognition Dimension)-Knowing self perspective

           2. Second Dimension (Recognizing the other, evaluating the incident  from his point of view)- Empathic Perspective)

3.Third Dimension (Knowing your group and understanding the other groups-Raising awareness of a third person/object or an incident rather than himself or a second one)- Small Group Perspective

4.Fourth Dimension (Cultural Point of View and understanding the other cultures)-Cultural  Perspective

           5. Fifth Dimension (Global thinking-universe-environmental projetcs-world together)- Global Perspective
