Dengting Boyanton
Dr. Dengting Boyanton currently serves as President of Sino-American Educational Research Association (S-AERA)，Dean of Flourish Positive Psychology Institute, Past Chair for the CTBE SIG of American Educational Research Association (AERA), former Wallace Grant Committee Member of International Society of the Learning Sciences.
As a Chinese American who has lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, Dr. Boyanton once worked as an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas (Brownsville) and Long Island University, Post. Dr. Boyanton received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia. Her research interests lie in teaching and learning, student-teacher relationships, engagement, motivation, wellbeing, youth empowerment. Her book Towards a Mutual Value Theory: Teachers and Students as Co-Learners was published by New York Peter Lang Publishing in 2014 and is now available in more than 20 countries.
