David Newman
I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco and a member of the Emotion, Health, and Psychophysiology Lab under the mentorship of Wendy Berry Mendes. I recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship under the guidance of Arthur Stone at the Center for Self-Report Science at the University of Southern California. Before this, I received my Ph.D. in social psychology at USC where I was a member of the USC Dornsife Mind and Society Center under the mentorship of Norbert Schwarz. Prior to this, I completed an M.A. in Psychology at the College of William and Mary under the guidance of John Nezlek. My research relies heavily on daily diary and Ecological Momentary Assessment methods and focuses on understanding well-being in daily life.
