Polina Beloborodova
I earned my BS in Management at HSE University (Moscow, Russia) and hold a double MS degree in Management from HSE University and ESCP Europe (Paris, France). After working in business for several years, I reinvented myself as a psychologist, obtained a certificate in Coaching and a PhD in Psychology from HSE University. I served as Research Assistant at the International Laboratory of Positive Psychology of Personality and Motivation (Moscow, Russia) and VIA Institute on Character (Cincinnati, Ohio). Currently I am working towards earning my PhD in Social Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. My interests lie in the intersection of positive psychology and contemplative science, and I have a particular interest in mindfulness training effects on self processes.
I am presenting a poster "Empathy: A critical link between self- compassion and social dominance orientation" together with my co-author Michael Juberg from the University of Hawaii at Manoa at the Congress. You can download the poster here: https://tinyurl.com/ex5pkwbd
