Suchetha Bhat
Suchetha has over 18 years of work experience in both the corporate and social sectors. After a 9-year corporate stint, she received a Postgraduate degree in Psychology and started her journey in the social sector in 2007 as a volunteer for Dream a Dream in Bangalore, India. She joined full-time in 2010 as Head of Strategy today serves as CEO, driving the scale and strategic direction of the organization. Dream a Dream is a non-profit organization, that empowers young people to overcome adversity and thrive in a fast-changing world by developing their life-skills. Under Suchetha’ s leadership, Dream a Dream’s impact has grown from 10,000 young people in Bangalore to over 3 million children across 5 states in India. Dream a Dream was instrumental in partnering with the Delhi Government to design and develop the Happiness Curriculum, the first of its kind in India, that focuses on the mental health of children from marginalized backgrounds inside the school calendar, across 1024 public schools of Delhi.
