Annalise Roache
Annalise is a PhD Candidate, positive psychology practitioner, coach, mentor, wellbeing researcher and Director of The Coaching Toolbox. She is passionate about bringing positive psychology to life through coaching and small group work. She is one of the lead authors of the Ethical Guidelines for Positive Psychology Practice (2019;2021), the first such guidelines for our field. Annalise is currently Co-President of the New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology and an active member of the Wellbeing Literacy team at the Centre for Wellbeing Science at the University of Melbourne.
In 2017 Annalise gained a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) from the University of East London, where she conducted an expressive writing randomised control trial exploring memory recall and coaching prompts to ameliorate wellbeing and depression. In 2018 Annalise commenced her PhD studies at Auckland University of Technology upon receiving a Vice Chancellor's Doctoral scholarship; her research explores lay conceptions of wellbeing and how these compare to prominent wellbeing models and theories used in Positive Psychology.
